The OPUS Project establishes and/or strengthens instrumental music education programs in the Chula Vista school district, California’s largest elementary school district. SDYS has refocused energy and impact by developing new programs, advocating for quality music education, and transferring ownership of programs to district-hired music teachers and school sites.
