In this episode of The Cameron Brown Show, I sit down with Philip Palmer, the founder of WarriorWOD, to explore his incredible journey from a decorated U.S. Marine Corps officer to a passionate advocate for veteran wellness. Phil shares the deeply personal inspiration behind WarriorWOD, an organization he founded to support veterans in their recovery from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) through exercise, nutrition, and mentorship.

Phil’s military career is nothing short of remarkable, having served in pivotal roles such as Combat Advisor in Iraq and Operations Officer for the Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence. His service has earned him numerous commendations, including the Purple Heart and multiple Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals with Valor. Despite facing significant challenges after his discharge, Phil discovered healing through physical fitness and has since dedicated his life to helping other veterans find the same strength.

WarriorWOD, under Phil’s leadership, has positively impacted hundreds of veterans, offering them hope and a path to recovery. In this episode, we dive into the founding of WarriorWOD, the program’s impact, and Phil’s vision for the future. We also discuss his remarkable achievements, from receiving the Regional Jefferson Award to completing over 4,000 skydives.

Join us as we explore the story behind WarriorWOD and the man who has made it his mission to empower our nation’s heroes.
