Strong grades don’t always equal strong test scores—and that disconnect can be frustrating for both students and parents. In this mini-episode, we break down why the SAT and ACT are their own skill set, not a reflection of intelligence or identity.

We talk about:

  • Why test scores don’t always match classroom performance
  • How over-prioritizing test prep can hurt other parts of the application
  • Why even high-achieving students need to prep strategically for these exams

Bottom line? These tests matter, but they aren’t everything—and they definitely don’t define you.
