Spoiler alert - the answer is yes. They're sucking every photo you take into iCloud, and analyzing it to make sure you're not up to no good. Control always helps the situation, right?

While they refuse to assist the government get into iPhones in exceptional cases such as the San Bernardino attack, they'll gladly spy on you themselves all day long.

As always, the bad guys just laugh and move on to other platforms. This creates another perfect storm of injustice, where they get away with things but YOU the consumer are micro-controlled.

Next, we "dissect" an article about Pig Butchering Scams, pun intended. WSJ sat down with two experts who explain the new scam where scammers earn your trust and then go in for the kill. They try and get you to fall in love with them and then give them your money or divulge details about your life that could be used to steal your identity.

As usual, people think that somehow playing Whac-a-Mole will stop this threat, but ten seconds later they'll just start another scam factory. As usual, the IT industry thinks that having validation schemes, the equivalent to putting gold star stickers on people's foreheads, will somehow solve it. The bad guys just shrug and sign up for the validation schemes and keep on scamming.
