Are You Emotionally Constipated?
Letâs get real. Most of us have been taught to hold it in, our feelings, our tears, our truth.
Crying? Nope. Suck it up. Be strong. Donât be âtoo emotional.â
But letâs talk about what actually happens when you keep all that đ© inside (see what I did there)
If youâve ever felt like a cry is creeping up your throat but you swallow it down like youâre trying to push it back into the depths of your soul, or if you judge yourself for getting emotional, you might be emotionally constipated.
And just like being actually constipated, holding it in isnât helping.
