[03:00] Ashley does a lot of demos on SEMrush, as well as teaching digital marketing.
[03:45] Ashley writes each presentation specifically for each group she presents to.
[04:54] Ashley tries to be as knowledgeable as possible.

[07:00] SEMrush is constantly adding to it’s toolkit, and figure out how to bridge the gap between tools.

[11:11] Ashley fell into digital marketing from journalism!
[12:35] Ashley is terrible at saying No, but it paid off in the beginning

[14:12] Biggest challenge is planes without WIFI, and working with people in different time zones.
[15:20] Ashley’s advice is to take care of yourself a lot! Travel burnout is REAL!
[16:25] When you’re in the middle of the work, you lose sight of why you’re doing it.

[18:40] What Ashley is excited about this year and beyond. Mobile indexing, and SEM RUSH’s Mobile audit tool!
[20:22] Keywords actually change from desktop and mobile - mobile is about quick answers.
[22:19] People are often on their mobile phone while doing others things, like watching tv, cooking, etc.
[23:17] You gotta look at your customer’s intent, not just mobile optimized sites.
[24:37] Content is the number one marketing tool for businesses. Especially interactive elements: podcasts, quizzes, videos.

[27:50] The content you get posted online gets diluted, you need to find a way to be unique!
