The letter-writing salvo between the Red Hook Boat Club and Red Hook Town Supervisor Robert McKeon continued this week with the Club declaring for the first time in writing that an acquisition is a “red line” the Town must not breach. McKeon, who has proposed taking the Club by eminent domain, asked that the Club leadership reach him to set up a meeting by Wednesday, July 2 to “discuss the necessary public park.” That meeting did not happen.
