Colorado lawmakers are likely to be called back to the state Capitol for a special session in the coming weeks to address a roughly $1 billion hole in the state's current budget. The gap is being caused by the so-called big, beautiful bill, the federal tax and spending measure passed by Republicans in Congress and signed by President Donald Trump.
