In a landmark funding round, OpenAI, the artificial intelligence powerhouse behind ChatGPT, has raised an impressive $6.6 billion.
This latest round of funding, led by venture-capital firm Thrive Capital, has nearly doubled OpenAI's valuation to $157 billion. Other notable investors include tech giants Microsoft, Nvidia, SoftBank, Fidelity, Khosla Ventures, Altimeter Capital, and the United Arab Emirates-based MGX3.
