What does it mean when you dream of your partner or someone in your family?

Is your dream giving insight into the person and your relationship with them, or is there a deeper meaning to such dreams? I always encourage you to look at everyone and everything in a dream as representing something about yourself. It’s easy to do that for weird surreal symbols, but when it comes to dreaming of your partner, your logical mind tries to step in.
