Isaiah 37:1-13
The nation of Judah is in a state of crisis due to King Sennacherib and the Assyrian army. Foolishly, however, the Assyrian representative, Rabshakeh, ignorantly mocks and taunts God and even calls Him a liar! Meanwhile, God sends the prophet Isaiah to deliver a message of hope to King Hezekiah and the people of Judah. The Lord, who is sovereign in all things says, "Do not fear!"
