Many employees who received layoff notices from the Department of Health and Human Services back in April are now officially separated from the agency. That's according to an email that went out Monday afternoon. HHS says a recent Supreme Court ruling allowed it to proceed with a portion of its reduction in force plans, but some fired HHS employees still remain on paid administrative leave.
