There is no shortage of discussion and excitement around green hydrogen’s future. But many people have wondered when we are actually going to see projects being built. In this episode, Jacob Susman speaks with Brett Perlman, the current CEO of The Center for Houston’s Future, who will be stepping into a new role focused on developing the Houston region’s hydrogen ecosystem. This includes the HyVelocity Hydrogen Hub, which is in line to receive $1.2 billion in Department of Energy funding to develop necessary infrastructure to support the shift to clean hydrogen. It’s a great example of federal funding catalyzing large private investments from industry leaders to get this industry off the ground.
