Welcome back THE HEAD GAME! During this week's episode, Host, Clinical Sport Psychologist Dr. Lee Picariello and Co-Host, Mental Strength Coach Jessica Ferdinand discuss "Fear of Failure". Further discussion will be based on the following:

· Training Our Bodies vs. Training Our Mind: Which is more important?

· Can overtraining lead to poor performance? When is it appropriate to give the body a rest and focus on being mindful?

· Do sports programs focus too much on training the body in order to perform at a high level?

· When a player is in a stressful situation, how important is the idea of mindfulness?

- Should the athlete stay in their mind or try to shut it off?

- Which will help them in remaining calm and succeeding?

· Do some sports need more physical training than others? Do some sports need more mental training than others?

· What are some examples of certain sports programs across the country (professional or college) that do a great job of finding a good balance between training the body and mind? Why?

Quote of the show: The more relaxed you are, the better you are at everything: the better you are with your loved ones, the better you are with your enemies, the better you are at your job, the better you are with yourself.”

- Bill Murray, American Actor
