Would you like to learn about the insights and perspectives of ethics and compliance program, including trainings and communications, risk assessments and leading and managing global investigations?

Let's do that together with Lisa Fine. She is an expert in compliance. As Sr. Counsel and Director, Compliance for Pearson, the world’s leading learning company and co-host of the “Great Woman in Compliance” podcast she is in constant contact with compliance professionals.

Lisa started her legal career at an international law firm, where she was a litigator and ran the Washington, D.C. pro bono program. She also worked in public interest law and advocating on behalf of persons with disabilities as part of a state protection and advocacy organization.

Lisa received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her undergraduate degree from Tufts University. She grew up in Buffalo, N.Y., and lives in Washington, D.C.

Just a few highlights of our conversation with Lisa

“Data concerns, information security, especially because there is so much of that. I think that's one of the biggest concerns that I'm seeing.”

“Nobody wants to train their children to do the wrong thing.”

“Are you doing something that's fraudulent or are you doing something you kind of take care of your family?”

“And this is why it's very important to always have witnesses in your interviews, to keep good notes.”
