From a childhood marked by fatherlessness and a desperate search for identity, to the dark spiral of the porn industry, to a radical transformation through the grace of Jesus Christ—Josh’s story will leave you speechless, inspired, & filled with hope.

Josh was born to a teenage mother and grew up without a consistent father figure, always feeling like he needed to prove his worth. After moving to LA to pursue acting, he was pulled into the porn industry after a single video destroyed his mainstream career. Over time, he starred in over 1,000 adult films, made over $1 million, and even won an award for Performer of the Year. Yet despite his “success,” he battled crippling depression, identity loss, and suicidal thoughts.

In 2013, at his lowest moment, a simple conversation altered the course of his life. Josh walked away from porn, returned home, became a Christian, and slowly began rebuilding. In 2022, he graduated from Liberty University, and today he is the Executive Director of Walkworthy with the AACC, a husband of 9 years, a father of 4 boys, and a leading voice against pornography and for men's identity in Christ.

In this episode, we don’t dive deep into the explicit details of the porn industry—we focus on something far more important: what led him there and how grace brought him out. We explore the loss and recovery of identity, the restoration process through Jesus, and the truth about how pornography damages both those in it and those who consume it.
