My guest Ketan migrated to the US at the age of 20, completed his undergraduate studies and MBA here, and is now recently retired after an over 30-year long career in the M&A field. In his free time, Ketan enjoys photography, digital art, music, reading, and physical fitness.

Ketan shares his influences that led to his decisions to come here for higher education, especially the bar set high by his mother. He humorously shares his experiences when he came here and incidents that compelled him to ‘acculturate’. He reflects on the several stereotypes associated with Indians in America and recounts his personal experiences as well. All of this adds up to thought-provoking opinions and stories that will surely capture the imagination of and inspire a walk down memory lane for many. He sums up his current take on his experience as an Indian American succinctly in the words "As of now, America is my Elysium".
