Deba is a real estate investor and former assistant principal. Prior to starting her real estate investing business, she served 16 years in education as a teacher, coach, bus driver, and principal.

In 2018, Deba quit her education job to become a realtor. She founded Douglas Dwellings, a real estate investment firm based in Texas and has grown it to $3M in annual revenue with a portfolio of over 30 properties.
