Episode 8 examines the tragic wrongful death and medical battery lawsuit (currently in trial as of 6/8/2025) against Ascension St. Elizabeth hospital. It concerns the 2021 death of Grace Schara, a 19 year old female with Down Syndrome. The hospital says Covid 19 caused her death and her parents allege that Precedex, Ativan (lorazepam), and morphine were administered together and hastened severe hypoxia and death. Her family watched her die via FaceTime while healthcare providers stood in the hallway refusing to enter the room. They said there was a Do Not Resuscitate order in her file however the family, as Power of Attorney, says they never placed a DNR for Grace, only a Do Not Intubate (DNI).
