Hello dear listeners!

It’s a very, very long time since our last Connery Detour. Connery is a name that looms large over the Bond franchise’s history, as well as film history in general. We got the itch to go back to the Connery well of terrific cinema and deliver another thrilling episode.

And so it is with great pride that we release our latest and possibly greatest Connery Detour about the 1967 gem O.K. Connery.

Oh, we’re sorry. Were you expecting someone else? Please. Neil Connery, Sean Connery, they look almost identical. In fact, Neil’s looks and acting skills are so convincing, it fooled even Lois Maxwell, Bernard Lee, Daniela Bianchi, Adolfo Celi, Anthony Dawson, all of whom had worked with Sean!

Since they were convinced they making a new Bond film, don’t blame us!

So sit back, relax, and enjoy American sounding Scots on this latest episode of The James Bond Complex.

…Ah, the alternate title is Operation Kid Brother. Ok, we get it now. Still, he’s so convincing!
