Jonesboro Arkansas police officials are still investigating the in custody death of Chavis Carter. Despite the unconcluded investigation, published reports indicate both officers who had custody and control of Carter at the time of his death were reinstated. Additionally, published reports say the autopsy findings conclude the death was a suicide. The Jonesboro Arkansas police department has released some arguably inconsequential police dash cam video. However, the Jonesboro Police Department has not released any video that was taken when the fatal shot occurred. On Thursday September 6, 2012 at 6:00 PM eastern time, we will have a full discussion of this death in custody case along with autopsy reports and reenactments.
