Hello and welcome back to Diaries of a Lady Gardener, the podcast about all things planty!

From flowers and fruits to succulents and sowing micro greens, we cover a whole host of topics with some of your favourite people across the gardening world. This ones for those who prefer plants to people and think of their seedlings as their children.

This week, I chatted to the lovely Carly from Sweet Williams Flowers, a florist local to me who took on the business as a complete career change a number of years ago. Being local, we even got to meet in person which is always extra exciting. I’ll confess early on, I definitely used this as a prime opportunity to ask ALL of my wedding floristry questions in anticipation of the wedding flowers I’ve got on the go this year, so I hope lots of you will find this just as helpful as I did!

Chatting with Carly was just fab, I learnt so much and can’t wait to welcome the Sweet Williams team to the allotment later this year! Who knows, maybe next year we’ll be growing flowers together!
