On this episode of the podcast I spoke to Wajahat Malik. Wajahat is an adventure travel filmmaker, a TV presenter and an adventure sports enthusiast. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of adventure filmmaking in Pakistan. For more than 2 decades he has been producing, directing and presenting adventure films for various Pakistani and foreign TV networks. He is also the founder of Pakistan International Mountain Film Festival (PIMFFF) and Managing Director of Eyebex Films, an Islamabad based video production company.
He is an avid mountain climber, paragliding pilot, trekker and a mountain bike enthusiast. Lately he is been driving his Rickshaw throughout the mountains of Pakistan.
We spoke about all things travel in Pakistan, but also his experience of driving his own rickshaw along the Karakorum highway from Islamabad up into the high passes to Gilgit. Some of you know we have recently launched our very own Pakistan rickshaw adventure and delighted to have Wajahat join us on our very first adventure in Pakistan next year.
