Have you experienced the pressure to have kids? Many women feel pressure from family, friends and societal messaging to have children. This pressure has a name - pronatalism.
In this episode, my sister, Sheri Johnson, joins me to talk about how the pronatalist paradigm affects how we work and lead. We get into a deeply personal conversation about how it feels to be a childless woman when the world tells us to procreate. We also discuss the division that pronatalism causes between women in work places, and the paradoxes that both moms and childless women face.
Sheri is the host of the Awakening Worth Podcast and a coach helping childless women (who wanted kids) to get through grief and triggers so they can find purpose and meaning in a pronatalist world.
