I used to think success was a simple formula: work harder, push through, and eventually, everything would fall into place. So, I did just that—I poured my heart, energy, and every spare second into my work, convinced that sheer effort would be enough to get me where I wanted to go.

Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.

It took me way too long to realize that working harder isn’t the same as working smarter—and that success isn’t about burning yourself out just to prove your worth.

If you’ve ever been fed bad business advice (and let’s be honest, who hasn’t?) I've got some truth bombs for you in today’s episode.

And then there’s the bad health advice—something I’ve not only experienced myself but have seen countless women fall victim to over the years. Women being told ‘Just eat less and move more’ when their hormones are out of balance. Women who feel exhausted, foggy, and burned out being told ‘That’s just normal—you’re a woman.’ Women being shamed for needing rest, for fueling their bodies with carbs, or for prioritizing their own well-being.

I know I’m not alone in this. I’ve heard from so many women—entrepreneurs, career-driven professionals, moms, caretakers—who have taken bad advice at some point, only to end up exhausted, frustrated, and wondering why they’re stuck.

So today, I’m setting the record straight. I’m going to break down some of the worst business and health advice women get—and more importantly, what to do instead. Because the truth is, you don’t have to burn yourself out to succeed, and you don’t have to suffer just because ‘you’re a woman
