Dave Bos is a farmer first, winemaker second, and lifelong student of the soil. Founder of BOS Wine and a respected biodynamic consultant, he’s spent over 25 years transforming vineyards through regenerative, whole-farm practices.

Originally from Michigan, Dave honed his craft in Napa Valley, managing iconic vineyards like Grgich Hills Estate. His belief—that healthy soil creates exceptional wine—led to his national consulting work and, in 2010, the launch of BOS Wine with his wife Jackie.

Now back in his home state, Dave works closely with Northern Michigan farmers to elevate organic practices and restore biodiversity. Grounded and curious, Dave is also a passionate educator, helping others view farming as a relationship—not just a transaction. You’re gonna love his wit and humor on this special episode of The Mostly Traverse City Podcast.
