We've all seen what self-care looks like on social media. We see Self-care through the lens of spas, and hair salons, shopping trips, and pretty drinks. Everything carries this tone of positivity that can become toxic.

This view leads us to push down our feelings of overwhelm or stress instead of doing the hard work of taking care of our mental and physical health.

If we look at another aspect, we are regularly told that we should be great full and say Alhamdulillah when the problem is not gratitude. It's stress, depression, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed because of the emotional workload we have as women.

How do we change this collectively so that our mindset, life expectations, and outlook are better?

We hope you've enjoyed this episode. Thank you for listening, don't forget to subscribe and leave a review.
