Sexual Favors and Hotel Rooms Provided by Police to Prosecution Fact Witnesses for Fabricated Testimony During Trial Major Tillery is 65-years-old and has spent over three decades in prison for crimes he did not commit. Twenty of those 30 years were spent in solitary confinement. Major Tillery has endured many very serious medical issues while in prison. He often experienced medical neglect. Major Tillery currently has Hepatitis C, a skin rash and arthritis. He has a degenerative hip, his orthopedic shoes were taken by prison administration and never returned. Tillery, was convicted of homicide, assault, weapons and conspiracy charges in 1985, for poolroom shootings which left one man dead and another wounded. The shooting occurred on October 22, 1976. Major Tillery was not a suspect in the shootings. He was not wanted by police, however; he was arrested in December of 1984. In May of 1985 he was convicted. Nine years after the 1976 shootings the manufactured trial was held.
