Happy New Years to you all. I wish you all a prosperous New Year. Especially to the students of the No BS Watchmaking course. I want to start this off by saying for those of you listening to this publicly, outside of the course, that this is a golden nugget. This podcast is dedicated to the students of the course. I speak to them like I would speak to my own family if I ever taught them watchmaking. I share some tips and advice for them in learning watchmaking and a brief expectation in what to look out for in the course. Look.... at the end of the day, you’re going to mess up. Expect it. It’s not a mistake unless you learn from it. If you don’t learn from it, only then does it become a mistake. Let the lessons callous your mind. It’s going to be a tough process. It isn’t easy nor did I or anyone else ever said it was going to be easy. I said that watchmaking is complicated but it doesn’t have to be boring and it doesn’t! But simple isn’t easy. LINKS: P.S.
