1st known from 21 Jump Street as “Officer Ioki” and brought the first cop series bromance with his 2 colleagues. DUSTIN NGUYEN is now the Lead, “Tay”, in a brilliant, award winning and critically acclaimed film The Accidental Getaway Driver directed by talented Sing J. Lee. Story of an elderly Vietnamese cab driver, during a routine pickup, is taken hostage at gunpoint by 3 Orange County convicts. It’s not his first award winning film, he was in Little Fish with CATE BLANCHETT as “Jonny, a drug addict”. He directed his first film critically acclaimed film Once Upon a Time in Vietnam among some other wonderful films, and also directing episodes in Warrior in season 2 and 3, produced by Shannon Lee. Look for him in the new upcoming series Dope Thief as “Son Pham” with our other prior YOLK guest KIEU CHINH, and directing the film, The Last Mission which is in preproduction!
