If you’ve been in orthodontics long enough, you’ve heard it all before. Promises of revolutionary gadgets that somehow never quite pan out. Maybe you even tried one or two of those technologies, only to be left disappointed or worse, skeptical of every new "innovation" that follows.

So when I tell you I found something different, something so compelling I invested my own money, you know it’s not a claim I make lightly.

In this episode, I sit down with Mark Terrill, CEO of OrthodontiCell, to talk about a device that might actually redefine how we deliver orthodontic care. Mark’s no stranger to med tech; he’s led multiple startups, taken companies to IPO, and knows what it takes to bring a medical device from concept to clinic.

The innovation? A bioelectric stimulation device designed to work with aligners or braces. But before you roll your eyes and think, “Not another gimmick,” hear me out. This is something I have personally used. And the technology itself is not new; it has been used for a long time in bone treatment procedures.

The co-founder behind this concept is Dr. John Marchetto, a brilliant orthodontist with a long track record of clinical excellence. I’ve known John for years. He’s smart, honest, and humble, and his cases are as good as they come. If he’s behind something, I’m paying attention.

We discuss science, business, investment, and how you can actually use this in your practice, and even how early investors and key opinion leaders can join this movement.
