Change. It’s probably the biggest constant in what we do. And nothing changes faster than technology. Not only in the tools we use but also in the public’s expectations in how we serve them.
One of the biggest changes I’ve seen in my time in government is this tectonic shift around digital transformation. And the need for the public service to modernize its role in delivering digital services. And we’re working to be a big part of that change – business areas and our Information Management Branch (IMB).
Host Russel Lolacher chats with Chief Information Officer and Executive Director Alex Ritchie, about IMB’s transformation to improve its digital delivery and services, while aligning with the digital service plans of the greater BC Public Service.
