The concept behind all shows from Bob Smith Podcasts is to offer loving, appreciative looks back at stars we all enjoyed so well as we were growing up - and in this case, this new podcast featuring Smith is a tribute to the glory years of the Canadian supergroup The Guess Who on RCA Records. You'll hear about the group's vast canon from "These Eyes" to "Power In the Music"; the band's stars in Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman, Domenic Troiano, Garry Peterson, and all the other great players that produced 14 Top 40 hits in the US. Our guest is Mark Doble, the co-author of "Domenic Troiano: His Life In Music," who has spent much time as both a GW fan and a writer covering them. It's a fitting tribute to a classic band that's made headlines of late - but we'd rather concentrate on what made them great!
