Dominick Thompson's gang life caught up with him and he served hard time in federal prison. But it was there that he found his true self as a vegan.

In part 1 of our conversation, he talks about how taking responsibility for his bad choices changed his life.

Thompson's book, "Eat What Elephants Eat," shares his story and his recipes. It's now available wherever books are sold.
