ALL ACCESS w/ Aditi – Aditi said the Steelers ‘absolutely’ won the George Pickens trade and sounded like she was in shock they got a 3rd round pick for him. Aditi went through the plethora of problems Pickens caused the Steelers over the last few seasons. She later described the trade as ‘brilliant’ from the Steelers. The guys asked her why this trade didn’t get done before or during the draft and instead happened now. What does this mean on the Aaron Rodgers front of things? The guys pointed out that Pickens will be playing with the best QB he’s played with in his career. The conversation got to Mike Tomlin and how he handles WRs and some of the diva personalities he's had on his team over the years. More calls on the George Pickens trade. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. With the George Pickens to Dallas move being official, Mike said the Steelers could turn their attention to Allen Lazard – one of close friends of Aaron Rodgers. Why didn’t the trade happen during the draft? Mike brought up what Jerry Jones said a couple weeks ago about a couple of big moves in the works from the Cowboys front office. Mike brought up a couple different receivers the Steelers could have their eyes on. One week away from the NFL schedule release, what happens if the Steelers don’t land Rodgers? Mike said everything with Pickens in Dallas comes down to Dak Prescott – who could be the QB that clicks with Pickens unlike any others have. Strike up the band… Mike said the 49ers would ‘LOVE’ to unload the Brandon Aiyuk contract, but thinks the door is closed with the Steelers. Mike talked about some of the red flags with receivers.
