Chris and Taylor review two adaptations of Stephen King's Salem's Lot: the 1979 two-part miniseries directed by Tobe Hooper and the 2024 film directed by Gary Dauberman. The plot centers on a writer who returns to his hometown of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration, only to discover the presence of a vampire. The 1979 miniseries stars David Soul, James Mason, Lance Kerwin, Bonnie Bedelia, Lew Ayres, Fred Willard, Julie Cobb and Reggie Nalder. The 2024 film stars Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Alfie Woodard, John Benjamin Hickey, Bill Camp, Pilou Asbæk, Alexander Ward, and Spencer Treat Clark.
