Loving God is more than a feeling or a belief. It is also more than any type of mental assent we could ever think. The thought and action behind loving God is many things to many people. Loving God is an act of total surrender to who He is, and recognizing who we are not without him. The more we fall in love with God the more we grow in obedience, we grow in grace and obedience. Our love for God draws us to grow in His word and to move from milk to meat of his word. The great thing about God is a relationship is not based on chronological time, but on the time we are willing to spend in his presence, and surrender to His word. So I encourage each of you to seek the face of the father, and get to know him intimately. It is no longer about the years of our salvation, but the intimate time we have in his presence.
