Stories of superhuman strength feel like urban legends, but there are many real life examples, in fact The Hulk was inspired by one witnessed by it's creator. We have stories of a mother lifting a two tonne car for five minutes to save her child, a 72 year old man lifting three times the world record, and a woman taking on a polar bear to save a group of children. Is this phenomena paranormal, or can science explain it. We investigate.
