This week on The Revolutionized Mind, we’re joined by Deluxson Yogarajah, a community advocate, future psychotherapist, and someone who’s rewriting the narrative for himself and others. Growing up in Jane and Finch, Delux faced the weight of responsibility from a young age. With limited resources and mental health rarely discussed, he found himself having to make money to support his family. He got involved with the justice system and was forced to navigate a lengthy court case as he was pushing himself through university. It wasn’t until he began learning about mental health that things started to shift. For the first time, he was able to reflect on his pain and move towards healing. That turning point sparked a passion that would lead him to study psychotherapy and dedicate his life to helping others. Now, Delux is giving back to the very community that shaped him - mentoring youth, creating opportunities, and using his story to show what’s possible. This is a powerful conversation about struggle, survival, self-awareness, and the impact of showing up for others once you’ve learned how to show up for yourself.
