Walton, son of Walmart founder Sam Walton—funded a full-page advertisement in The New York Times promoting a nationwide protest against President Donald Trump’s Flag Day celebration in Washington D.C. The New York Post notes that Christy Walton has no role in Walmart’s operations but has a net worth of over $19 billion.
