My guest today embodies everything I love: she is putting her work in line with her values. After a chat with a stranger, she decided to get involved in a fantastic project that mixes her love of saffron, a delicious spice, and her desire to do something good for the world.
We talk about partnership with people who are from other cultures, the beauty of the internet, our love for food, feeling useful and feeling good in business.

ABOUT LISA Lisa Schwartzman is a dynamo who loves hard work, saffron and helping women to prevail in the face of adversity. Lisa's comedy work, writing, on-air hosting, video production, and video editing have appeared on HBO, Showtime (CBS), The Discovery Channel, MTV, and CBC Radio and Television. She made Safaroma's Kickstarter video (the talented Ron Grebler directed). She has a Joint Honours B.A. in Political Science and Russian Literature from the University of Waterloo. when she's not helping Safaroma, she now works as a social media community manager with an emphasis on video production.Extra from the show:
