• San Francisco Giants acquire All-Star slugger Rafael Devers from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for RHP Jordan Hicks, LHP Kyle Harrison, OF prospect James Tibbs and RHP prospect Jose Bello. The Red Sox will not send any money to cover the remaining $250 million-plus on Devers’ contract.

• Miami Dolphins implement an 'orange jersey' incentive given to the previous practice's player of the day throughout OTAs, minicamp, and training camp. The player who receives the orange jersey also decides the music played over the speakers during that practice.

• Eagles’ Zach Baun says Philly's defense is looking scary already this year: “To think that was all of our first year in that scheme. Like, what are we going to do next year? Already, I feel like we're miles ahead of where we were last year at this time."
