Everything Happens for a Reason

- Gene Hackman, his wife and a dog have been found dead at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

There are Winners and Losers in Life

- The Supreme Court seemed likely Wednesday to side with an Ohio woman who claims she suffered sex discrimination from her employer because she is straight. Marlean Ames, who has worked for the Ohio Department of Youth Services for more than 20 years contends she was passed over for a promotion and then demoted because she is heterosexual. Both the job she sought and the one she had held were given to LGBTQ people.

Accept and Embrace

- A woman in Colorado has been arrested after police caught her with explosives at a Tesla dealership, reports ABC.

Working Hard is Not Enough

- Between innings, the Clemson baseball PA announcer asked all veterans to please rise. The team then emptied out of the dugout and went into the stands to shake hands and thank each and every veteran in attendance

Confidence is the Key

- Ahead of Fast-Food Council’s meeting today, SEIU Researchers Admit $20 Wage Law Caused Fast Food Job Losses. California’s fast-food restaurants lost 10,700 jobs making it the worst performing year outside of a recession.
