In this episode, Minh & Debbie discuss a couple of different sets of statistics, including the NDIA's most recent quarterly update along with some findings released in a white paper by Barwon Investment Partners in November as part of their 'Investing in the Specialist Disability Accommodation Sector - 2024 report.
Both sets of statistics offer a different take on the NDIS and SDA data from the information we generally provide, which is predominantly specific SDA data in relation to supply and demand.
The NDIA data includes information such as the number and primary disability of NDIS participants overall, participant numbers by age group, how many have SIL and/or SDA funding among other numbers.
The Barwon stats are more SDA specific but of interest are the numbers relating to SDA vacancy as well as future SDA supply & demand.
