Medical Terminology Explained:
👉🏾 Abducens nerve paralysis, also known as sixth cranial nerve palsy, is a condition where the sixth cranial nerve, which controls the lateral rectus muscle of the eye (the muscle that moves the eye outwards), is damaged or weakened. This can lead to difficulty moving the affected eye outwards and, in some cases, double vision.
