🎙️Episode 186 of the Self Made Podcast: The Menopause what a coach needs to know with Dr Carrie Jones is now live!

As coaches we can have the biggest impact on the health of our clients. People often go to visit doctors when things have already progressed and make a visit every few years. As coaches we speak to our clients more frequently and can influence how our clients eat, act, feel and behave more than any other sector.

This why it is our duty to understand the health of our clients at a deeper level than purely calories. This is why it is an honour to have Dr Carrie Jones join us on the show.

She lives and breaths the above responsibility. Working with patients, diving head first into the research, educating practitioners and even working to develop better testing methods.

In this conversation we discuss the complexities of hormonal health, particularly focusing on menopause and its impact on women's health, The importance of understanding the hormonal changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause, the effects of yo-yo dieting, and the significance of gut health.

We also dive into the role of stress in exacerbating symptoms and offers practical strategies for managing these changes through lifestyle adjustments and dietary diversity.

The episode in full is live now on Youtube, Apple, Spotify and wherever you listen to your podcasts.
