For Episode 16 of “The Separation is in the Preparation” podcast I am joined by Max Bock-Aronson. Max is the CEO and Co-Founder of Breathe99, a public benefit corporation best known for its B2 Mask which filters out 99% of potential respiratory contaminants. Max shares his inspiration for the mask and how Covid-19 revitalized and changed the project. We also discuss the creative process Max employs when designing products, as well as his advice for anyone starting and running their own company. This was a really cool episode to record, as it challenged the way I look at and think about the privilege so many of us have in being able to breathe clean air.
