In this episode I speak to Abi Mohammed, Abi is one of those people that is literally a human version of a unicorn. You will understand what I mean when I begin to speak about her list of phenomenal achievements. Abi is a software developer & engineer tester, she’s also the co-founder of a company called CGV which stands for Community Growth Ventures. CGV invests in underrepresented entrepreneurs looking to change the world and communities they operate in. They specifically work with startups at the Pre-Seed and Seed stage. Abi has been featured on BBC World as one of the Women to watch in tech. She has also been been featured in the London Evening Standards’ Progress 1000 Tech list influential people. Being a woman is hard, black, muslim, and working in tech is just phenomenal. Abi likes to refer herself as a maker and that is because makes things not just for herself but she also makes things happen for others. I must also add that Abi has been very instrumental in my own startup journey. She has helped me and my startup TRENDiPEOPLE in both a technical and advisory capacity. Abi is one of the leading female tech startup founders in the London ecosystem. You can find out more about Community Growth Ventures (www.cgventures.co) and you can connect with Abi on Twitter (https://twitter.com/abii_mohamed) If you enjoy this episode please give us a review and share the podcast.
