Sadly, many churches today have no idea who the Holy Spirit is, even though Jesus said...

John 14:15-17

If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever---the Spirit of truth...

And again, Jesus said...

John 14:26

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

The plans God has for you are the very things you've been searching for all of your life. And the only way to discover them is with the help of the Holy Spirit.

And the only way the Holy Spirit will work on your behalf is having a relationship with Jesus, which of course opens the door to a loving relationship with God...the Creator of everything!

Now you can try and do it on your own, but the difference would be like taking a road trip in a working car, or doing the same trip in a car with four flat tires and a blanketed windshield!
