In this Episode, my colleague Romina and I discuss a employment related phenomenon known as The Great Resignation which is sweeping through The United States and other countries around the world. People are quitting their jobs at an alarming rate and companies are having a difficult time finding new talent. Especially in the service industry and among entry level positions.
We dive into the possible reasons why people are leaving their employers at an alarming rate and why it is becoming so difficult for companies to replace them. We also talk about some of the shifting values related to work-life balance people may be experiencing in this post COVID era.
Listen to this episode to hear our reflections on the experiences of those close to us as well as our own in an attempt to understand the changing trends and complications of modern day professional life.
